2. Presentación de la Fundación Canfranc en Logroño.
El 31 de enero de 2008, en el Salón de Exposiciones de Ibercaja de Logroño, tuvo lugar un acto de presentación de los proyectos sociales de la Fundación Canfranc, con especial los de Cooperación al Desarrollo en Costa de Marfil.
El acto fue presidido por el Consejero de Cooperación al Desarrollo del Gobierno de La Rioja D. Emilio DEL RÍO y contó con la participación de COLETTE KADJA, miembro de nuestro socio local marfileño, que hizo una presentación audiovisual de las características de su país y de las actividades formativas y de desarrollo que están ejecutando en Costa de Marfil en favor de la mujer.
3. Programas riojanos 2008.
A partir del mes de febrero, se ponen en marcha los programas sociales de la Fundación Canfranc en La Rioja. Las acciones voluntarias más destacadas son:
- programa de acompañamiento hospitalario en el Hospital de San Pedro, Logroño
- programa de acompañamiento a personas mayores en la Residencia La Rioja, de Albelda y en la Residencia Los Jazmines, de Haro
- acompañamiento domiciliario a mayores que viven solos en Logroño.
4. La embajadora de Costa de Marfil en la sede de la Fundación Canfranc.
El pasado 4 de febrero, Dª Jeanne GUEHE MOULOT, embajadora de
la República de Costa de Marfil en España, visitó la sede de la Fundación
Canfranc y estuvo trabajando las posibilidades colaborar en diversos proyectos a
favor las personas desplazadas y perjudicadas por la guerra de Costa de Marfil.
La embajadora vino acompañada de D. Philippe ANDRÉ GAUZE, de asuntos culturales
de la Embajada y del cónsul de Costa de Marfil en Zaragoza, D. Francisco MATA
RIVAS.
